System Sequence of Events

For any alarm, provide a

delay period before the

external alarm speaker is

active.

¨ Apex Destiny 6100 control panel,

rev. 8.05 or greater

¨ External Speaker

(8 ohm - 10 watt minimum)

- External Alarm Delay -

1) Upon any alarm activation the system will send an ON command to Control Channel 1

energizing the on-board relay for a programmable time period. The common wire for the

external speaker will be interrupted disabling the speaker.

2) After the programmed time period the system will send an OFF command to Control

Channel 1 de-energizing the on-board relay. The common wire for the external speaker

will be restored enabling the speaker and allowing the alarm to be annunciated.

For any alarm activation the external speaker will be disabled for a programmed

time period before sounding an alarm. The internal speaker alarm will remain

instant.

This application allows the end user a period of time to disarm the

control after any activation before the alarm speaker disturbs neighbors.
