¨ Apex Destiny 6100 control panel, rev. 8.05 or greater

¨ System Sensor smoke detectors, 2112/24 AITR

¨ System Sensor RR1 polarity reversal relay module

- Four-wire Smoke Detectors with Sounders -

To activate the sounders

on all four-wire smoke

detectors after any one

smoke detector is

tripped.

After a smoke detector is tripped the control panel will energize the polarity reversal relay

causing the sounders to activate on all four-wire smoke detectors that are connected to the

control panel.

1) A smoke detector trips which activates a fire zone on the control panel.

2) The Fire auxiliary output trigger is programmed to energize the on-board relay which will in

turn energize the polarity reversal relay.

3) When the polarity reversal relay is energized the relay contacts will change position (from

normally closed to normally open). This will reverse the supply voltage going to all four-wire

smoke detectors which will activate the sounders of each smoke detector.

This application will use polarity reversal to

activate sounders on four-wire smoke detectors.
